Where Every Reproduction Begins
A stunning print reproduction starts with the fine art scanning process. It sounds simple, but the quality of your original scan determines everything that follows including the accuracy of the colour and the sharpness of the detail.
At Rethink Ink, we utilise a large-format fine art scanner, the METIS DRS 2020, which is one of only two in Europe, with the other located in The Vatican. This state-of-the-art system is capable of capturing your artwork at extraordinary resolution, preserving every nuance of colour, texture, and tone with complete accuracy.
Our scanning service covers all standard artwork sizes up to double AO size. Each scan is accompanied by a full file processing service that produces a print-ready layered file, forming the master digital archive of your work — available for any future print runs, including high-quality Giclée printing on Hahnemühle paper and tactile printing techniques.
Why does scanning quality matter? Don't underestimate the impact of a poor-quality scan. A low-resolution or poorly colour managed file will compromise every print made from it. Investing in good scanning at the outset protects the integrity of your work for every reproduction that follows.

This is where Rethink Ink truly stands apart. Our 3D textured art replica service employs advanced UV-LED printing technology and fine art scanning techniques to produce 3D textured reproductions of your original paintings that not only mimic the image but also replicate the tactile experience of the original.
Utilising a SwissQprint flatbed UV-LED printer, we engage with a tactile printing process, applying upwards of 20 layers of UV-hardened ink onto a rigid substrate. This meticulous method captures the exact texture and topography of your original brushwork. Resulting in a 3D textured art replica that reflects almost identically the surface texture of your original painting. The outcome is a reproduction that embodies both the visual and physical presence of your work.
We can output your work onto a variety of substrates, including Di-Bond, Canvas, Foamex, Vinyl, Aluminum, Acrylic, Glass, MDF, Paper, and more.
CANVAS and stretched PRINTS

At Rethink Ink, our canvas printing service delivers exceptional archival quality results for artists, collectors and galleries seeking a stunning alternative to traditional paper prints.
We print onto a premium museum-grade, OBA-free poly-cotton canvas at 1440 dpi, using wide-gamut nine-colour inks for extraordinary sharpness, depth and colour accuracy. Every canvas is colour-managed using custom ICC profiles to ensure faithful reproduction of your original artwork.
Our optional hand-stretching service uses FSC-certified premium stretcher bars, producing a beautifully finished piece that arrives ready to hang — no additional framing required. Edge options include plain, coloured or a mirror wrap created from the image itself.
Because we use solvent inks with a fast heat-bonding process, the finished surface is exceptionally durable and requires no additional varnishing — ensuring your canvas prints remain vibrant and intact for years to come.
